It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Colleen Anna Karim. She passed on February 26, 2021 at the young age of 27 and is now in the arms of our Lord.
Colleen graduated with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She was a true example of hard work and dedication and possessed a strong desire to always help people. Even from a very young age Colleen knew that she always wanted to help people whether they were young or old, which is what lead her to the career that she chose.
Colleen had a captivating smile and her presence alone could always light up the room. She had great love for her family and friends, and absolutely adored children especially her nephews and nieces.
She is survived by her beloved parents Amir and Ensaf (Sabbagh) Karim, her brother Albert and his wife Lynda (Visnaw) Karim, her sister Jennifer and her husband Omar Karim, nieces and nephews Cheyenne, Alexander, Jacob, Lucas, Masoud, Omar II, and Grace, as well as her grandmother Joza Karim, and many many dear Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and her dear friend David Ford.

A Requiem Mass will be held Wednesday,
March 3, 2021 at 10:00 am at
St. Thomas Chaldean Catholic Church

Due to the ongoing pandemic,
we understand taking precautions
and remaining safe is a priority to us all.

The family apologizes for not accepting guests at their home.
They will accept your condolences via phone calls, social media messages and texting.
At the families request any gift of flowers can be sent to
the church the day of the funeral.
