It is with a heavy heart we announce the loss of our
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Evleen Arafat.

Beloved Grandmother to 4 beautiful grandchildren
Donovan, Vincent, Jacob, and Olivia.

Loving sister to 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
Morshed (Najat) Shammami, Majid (Raja) Shammami,
The Beloved Ziad (Inam) Shammami,
The Beloved Najiba (Maolood) Yaldo, Georgia (late Prince) Gallozi,
Mathila (Sam) Kemmunu, Samira Shammami and Najwa (Waad) Nadhir.

Our mother was a humble and caring soul; she fought a tough fight with dignity,
hope and optimism, never complained and even in the end never stopped fighting.
She loved her family and will be greatly missed.

We would like to thank everyone for the love
and support we have received and continue to receive.
We are grateful for your thoughts and prayers.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we understand
taking precautions and remaining safe is a priority to us all.
Therefore, the use of masks and social distancing are suggested.
The family apologizes for not receiving the
guests at home or any other public halls
and ask you to continue to pray for them and
will receive condolences on the social media and phone calls.

Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm.

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
