IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Faiza
Haisha
June 20, 1942 – April 25, 2025
In Loving Memory of Faiza Haisha.
A Devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Faithful Servant of God.
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Faiza, a beloved matriarch whose life was a testament to love, faith, and family. A widowed mother of six, cherished grandmother, and adored great-grandmother, Faiza's legacy is one of unwavering devotion - to her family, her faith, and her heritage.
Born in Iraq, Faiza married her beloved husband Louis and together they built a life grounded in love, strength, and sacrifice. They raised their children in Iraq before immigrating to the United States, where they worked hand-in-hand to create a stable and prosperous life for their family.
A devout Catholic, Faiza's faith was the foundation of her life. She never missed a day of praying the Rosary, and even in her later years — wheelchair-bound and physically limited - she faithfully attended daily Mass from home through televised services. Her relationship with God was unshakable, and her home was filled with prayer, peace, and grace.
She found joy in the simple, sacred moments: spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren; teaching her beloved Iraqi recipes to the next generation; and sitting at the table to play cards, share stories, and laugh together. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where memories and traditions were passed down with every dish she lovingly prepared.
Faiza leaves behind her devoted children (Iman Seman, Riyhad Haisha, Amal Thomas, Ibtisam Mansour, Ikhlas Haisha, and Ahlam Mansour), grandchildren, and great-grandchildren - each one a living reflection of her strength, love, and enduring faith.
Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will remain with us always. We find comfort in knowing she has returned to the arms of the Lord she served so faithfully, reunited with her beloved Louis, and watching over us with heavenly peace.
"Well done, good and faithful servant... enter into the joy of your Lord." - Matthew 25:23
Let us honor her memory by carrying forward the lessons she taught us: to love one another deeply, to serve with humility, to pray without ceasing, and to live with faith that does not falter.
As Scripture reminds us in 2 Timothy 4:7:
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Faiza did just that.
