the loss of the beloved
Frances Antionette Davis

Frances Davis, a brilliant spirit, entrepreneur, and life-long dedicated resident of Detroit, Michigan,

Frances is survived by her parents Mark and Claudelle Davis; her daughter Frances Peterson; her sisters Marqueisha Brown (Myron Brown), Cheri Davis, Markie Silverman (Adam Silverman), and Chaste Davis; her grandparents Loretta Booker, and Stanley and Barbara Washington; her nieces and nephews Akira, Dylan, MJ, Mark Anthony, Camden, Abigail, Gia, Ava, and Charlotte; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Lenore Davis.

Frances was born in Detroit on February 12, 1980. She attended Cass Technical High School and she went to college at Wayne State University, with a focus in Biology/Pre-Med. She also obtained her certification in massage therapy and a real estate license. On October 1, 1997, she welcomed her beautiful daughter, who was the most important part of her life.

Frances was a devoted mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, and aunt. She enjoyed reading, learning, traveling, real estate, music, gaming, astrology, and holistic health. She was an artistic and creative being, she had a beautiful voice, and was extraordinarily intelligent. While alive, Frances was in the process of obtaining her degree in holistic medicine. Her versatility and career experience expanded across multiple industries. She has worked as a real estate agent, a photographer, a paraprofessional at a middle school, and has owned multiple non-profit organizations to help improve the community in the City of Detroit. She had a fierce dedication for the City of Detroit and how it was represented. Frances was and will continue to be a powerful force behind her daughter's career and focus in music. Frances was a spiritual person, and believed in giving back to the community and the people she came from. Frances may not be here physically but her spirit will always be present. Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God has made for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call
I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that peace at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Oh yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and peace to thee
God wanted me now; He set me free.
