IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gerald Robert
"Gerry" Chantres
April 14, 1942 – February 2, 2026
We regret to inform you of the loss of the beloved Gerald Robert "Gerry" Chantres.
Gerry Chantres, age 83, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones, following a long battle with lung cancer.
Gerry married the love of his life, Linda, in October of 1992. Together he helped raise their two children, Michael and Kimberly. Gerry took great pride in caring for his family and was a devoted husband, an amazing father, and a wonderful grandfather to his six grandchildren, whom he absolutely adored. We will miss him so much.
Gerry is survived by his wife of 33 years, Linda (Acho); his children, Michael (Rita) and Kimberly (Freddie); his grandchildren, Ava, Brooke, Fiona, Roman, Lucy, and George; his siblings, Ron (Kathie) and Linda (the late David); and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Andrew (Dee), Margaret (the late Ralph), Ronald (Rita), Roy (Debbie), and Joni (Al). He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews, especially Brent and Kirk Plawecki.

Thank you and God Bless You!
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the Kingdom, the power, and the glory are Yours,
now and forever.
Amen
