Obituary

Dear family and friends, It is with great sadness that we inform you of the loss of Habiba Jajawie Karana, our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 4th, 2022 at the age of 94 years old.
She was born July 1st 1928 in Telkeppe, Iraq to the late Jajawie and the late Ghazala.
Habiba was a devoted wife to the late Tobia Karana. Together they had 8 beautiful children: Labiba (Masoud) Kas-Mikha, Labib (Suad) Karana, Lateef (Thaira) Karana, Riadh (Batool) Karana, Raida (Amer) Kakoz, Hana (Ameer) Najor, Amira (Suhail) Hallak, and Alaa (Nada) Karana.

Humble grandmother to 39, great grandmother to 62 and great great grandmother to 1.

Habiba loved unconditionally, a trait she passes down to those she cared for the most, her children. With them, she leaves behind a timeless legacy of compassion, wisdom, morality and much more. She will be missed greatly by all those that had the honor of knowing her. Her light lives on forever in the memories she leaves behind.

Thank You and May God Bless You

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil;
for thine is the Kingdom and the Power,
and the Glory, for Ever and Ever.
Amen
