IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Hana Yousif
Manna
April 6, 1943 – August 22, 2025
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Hana Yousif Manna.
Hana Manna, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Iraq on April 6, 1943, Hana lived a life defined by faith, family, and service to her community.
In 1959, Hana married Frank (Fouad), and together they built a beautiful family. Ten years later, in 1969, they immigrated to America to begin a new chapter filled with both challenges and opportunities.
Hana began her career working for Detroit Public Schools before joining the Oak Park School District as the Community Liaison. In both roles, she became a guiding light for countless students, many of whom considered her their "second mother." She was especially dedicated to helping immigrant families and children adjust to their new lives in America. Her tireless efforts to bring people together, advocate for those in need, and strengthen her community remain part of her enduring legacy.
Hana is survived by her beloved husband, Frank, and their eight children: Jibran (Ban), May Denha (late Roy Denha), Alan (Jennifer), Vinos Kassab (Robert), Qais, Robert (Jennifer), Leila Kello (Johny), and Martin (Tamara).
She was the cherished grandmother of 26: Christopher Denha, Crystal Denha, Jessica Sulaka (Nick), Serena Shaeena (Danny), Chad Manna (Meghan), Todd (Juan) Manna, Rachel Echols (Nic), Michael Manna (Amber), Erica Henderson (Rich), Alexa, Brian, Brandon Kassab (Talia), Dominic Kassab, Daniel Kassab, Vincent, Jade, Julian Manna, Jordan Manna, Derek, Jacob, Marisa, Lucas Kello, Shane, Zara, Mire', and Zander Manna.
Hana was also blessed to be a great-grandmother to 14: Gianna, Brooklyn, Timothy, Marcus, Francesca, Maria Manna, Oliver and Elaina Nichols, Savannah, Scarlett, Nicholas Sulaka, Jordan Kassab, Aria and Olivia Henderson.
She will be remembered as the heart of her family, a woman who gave selflessly, loved deeply, and dedicated her life to nurturing others. Her warmth and generosity touched everyone who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the generations she helped raise.
May her memory be eternal.

Thank you and God Bless You!
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory are yours
now and forever!
Amen.
