Hania Dickow, beloved wife of the late Shamasha Yousif (Joseph) Dickow, entered the Gates of Heaven on July 17, 2014 at the amazing age of 99.
Hania's culinary skills and hospitality were legendary and she made sure all visitors left her home with a full stomach, as well as a sufficient amount of grape leaves for their next dolma endeavor.
She was a master gardener, and her great sense of humor kept her grandchildren entertained for hours at time.
Always concerned about others, Hania prayed daily for everyone, helped to care for those in need, and looked forward to each new day as another day to serve God.
This incredible mother, grandmother,
great grandmother, aunt and friend of many, is survived by her children and their spouses including:
Najat (Dickow) and (the late) Michael George, Adil (Edward) and Pat Dickow, Amir and Mary Dickow, John and Cheryl Dickow, Doreen (Dickow) Sabbag, Christopher and Rhonda Dickow, as well as 20 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, her sisters, brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Hania was pre-deceased by her husband Yousif, and her daughter Nethal (Yvonne).
Just as Hania watched over us on earth, she will now watch over us as our Guardian in Heaven.
We Love You Mom!
