Mr. James M. Collins was born on March 28, 1942 to parents Mr. Eddie Collins and Mrs. Pauline Collins in Pittsburgh, PA. James served his country honorably as a decorated veteran in the Nuclear Weapons department of the United States Army. He was later employed at General Motors Milford Proving Grounds as a lead Electronic Equipment technician. Shortly afterwards, his career moved to media broadcasting as a tv cameraman for WJBK Storer Broadcasting, where he worked dutifully for twelve years. In 1981, by the grace of God, James survived a tragic auto accident that left him legally blind and physically disabled wherein he was no longer able to work. In his leisure, James enjoyed playing chess, reading biographical best-sellers, watching sports and spending time with his loving family.

James was truly blessed. He was born on March 28,1942 and departed this life on July 4, 2018. At a young age, James accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and continued to live his life as a believer. He was preceded in death by father Eddie Collins, mother Pauline Collins and eldest brother Robert Collins. He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife Catherine Collins, son Lynn Collins, daughter Kim Collins, brother Joseph Collins, brother Jacob Collins, sister Shirley Harrell, sister Audrey Collins, sister Mary Fitzpatrick, sister Sandy Bugg; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.

Thank You and May God Bless You

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil;
for thine is the Kingdom and the Power,
and the Glory, for Ever and Ever.
Amen
