It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of our beloved
Jamila Samona age 87 born November 5, 1932
and called to her forever home on August 5, 2020.

Wife of the late Gorguis Samona and survived by her nine children
Imad (Kifah), Khairi (Taghrid), Thair (Shahla), Bashar (Ibtisam),
Mazin (Linda), Peter, John (Shelly), Inam (Kelly), Luke (Dawn).
Loving grandmother of thirty grand children and seventeen great grandchildren.

Her light will forever shine on. She always will be loved, missed  and remembered.

Church Services:
A instate church visitation will take place from
10:00 am. to 11:00 am.
A requiem mass will take place at
Mother of God Chaldean Church on
Monday, August 10, 2020 11:00 am.

Committal Service:
The interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
following Church Services.

At the families request any gift of flowers can be sent to
Mother of God Church the day of the funeral.

Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known
that anyone who fled to Thy protection, implored Thy help, and
sought Thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto Thee, O Virgin of virgins. My Mother!
to Thee I come; before Thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.
Oh Mother of the Word incarnate despise not my petitions,
but, in Thy mercy, hear and answer me.
