Jovan Samir
Tueni
May 3, 1988 – April 29, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the beloved
Jovan Samir Tueni.
Jovan Samir Tueni was born on May 3, 1988, to Samir and Mithal, their fourth and youngest child. He was a gregarious kid who was known to get into some “good mischief,” playing pranks on people and making everyone laugh. He was the same way as an adult!
Jovan was an avid high school athlete, excelling at football and even breaking a wrestling record. He loved to fish and shoot his guns, and his favorite movie characters were Chucky and Michael Myers. He was playful and fun in every aspect of life.
On October 13, 2023, he married Bianca Audish in a beautiful ceremony at Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church, followed by a spectacular party at Penna’s. The joyous moment marked the beginning of their journey together as husband and wife. Jovan loved to indulge in Bianca’s homemade meals and play with their puppy, Georgie. His love for her was pure and innocent; he always gave more to her than himself. That is who he was. He was the guy you would call to fix your tire or your problems. He wore his heart on his sleeve; you knew he loved you because he showed it.
Jovan was very proud to be an uncle of 10, and nothing made him happier than watching them at their games and activities. He also lived to annoy his nieces and nephews- flicking their ears, giving them noogies, and even checking their locations. He was an uncle like no other; all the kids were blessed with his love, care, and protection. He was only 37 years old.
You definitely felt Jovan’s presence, and you will definitely feel his absence. He is not gone though; Jovan will live in our hearts forever. God rest his soul.
Jovan Tueni is survived by his wife Bianca and his parents Samir and Mithal; his grandmother Sabria Abro; his sister Eva Shammami and her kids Lucas and Savannah; brother Jason (Valeen) and their kids Brodie, Niko, Noelle, and Jaxson; brother Vincent (Melanie) and their kids Blair, Gino, Leo, and Leyla; his father-in-law Namir Audish; his mother-in-law Khalida Abdaal; his brother-in-law Brandon Audish; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Thank you and God Bless!
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;
for Thine is the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory, forever and ever.
Amen
