Mr. Kamal R. Toma went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Kamal was born on November 29, 1930 in Mosul, Iraq and married his wife Norma Al-Yassi in 1959. In 1952 he received a scholarship to study in the United States of America. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University and received his Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University. He was also a Registered Professional Engineer and worked at Barton Malow Company for nearly 30 years, retiring as the Chief Mechanical Estimator. He loved spending time with his family, serving Sts. Peter & Paul Syriac Orthodox Church, and enjoyed going up north to his cottage. He will be dearly missed by his wife, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Norma, sons Ray (wife Dalya), Daniel (wife Patricia), Chris (wife Susan), and his daughter Linda (husband Benjamin). His grandchildren include Marie (husband John), Michelle, Jamie, Isabella, Isaac, Rachel, Angela, Brady, Sophia and Paul.
