IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kristopher Lee
Tato
July 8, 1979 – November 10, 2025
Dearest family and friends, we are saddened to inform you of the loss of the beloved
Kristopher Lee Tato.
There are some people who are mysteries in life, who mask their feelings and spend their days making you wonder what they are thinking.
Not our son and brother, Kris.
Whether it was his opinion on politics, his armchair quarterbacking of Berkley High School football's latest game or his huge love of all things Michigan State University and Detroit Lions, Kris was here to talk - and loved conversations with friends and strangers alike.
A graduate of Berkley High School and Oakland Community College, Kris always had a passion for history, especially presidential history, and also loved vintage Nintendo gaming, karaoke wherever he could find it with friends, bowling, pool, swimming and, of course, his lifelong fandom of WWE.
His family and friends were important to him - and he looked forward to holiday gatherings and wedding parties as much as hanging out with our mom and dad to watch a game.
All of those passions were matched by his love of being true to his religion, attending church weekly, volunteering as an altar boy from a young age and, even when his illness prevented him from attending mass, watching at home and looking forward to returning to church. Prayers from all of you, and as far away as Lourdes, helped buoy him - and we are grateful.
We love you and will miss you, Kris, but know we will see each other again. We hope you are having a beautiful reunion in heaven with your cousins and grandparents and we know you're sending blessings down for all of us.
Kristopher Tato is survived by his parents Kamal and Maisoon Tato, his brother and sister and their spouses, along with nieces, a nephew and many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to
EWTN Global Catholic Television Network, in memory of Kristopher Tato.

Thank You and May God Bless You
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil;
for thine is the Kingdom and the Power,
and the Glory, for Ever and Ever.
Amen
