IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marco Kamal
Yousif Dds
July 9, 1991 – December 8, 2020
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the loss of the beloved Marco Kamal Yousif DDS.
Adored son of Kamal and Montaha Yousif.
Loving Husband to Noor Kashat Yousif DDS.
Doting father to Gerard Marco Yousif.
Marco was a truly remarkable person. Raised by devoted and devout parents who's sole purpose was their sons well-being, he fulfilled his parents wishes in being the child he was. An only child, he was born in Iraq where he spent a year of his life. As a toddler, Marco's parents decided they wanted to move for a better opportunity but more importantly a better opportunity for Marco. That is when they took that leap of faith and moved to Chicago, where he spent most of his childhood and developed a huge passion for all Chicago sports. As an adolescent, he later moved to Rochester, Michigan where he remained most of his life and unfortunately the rest of his life . It was during those years that he met and maintained loyal friendships with almost everybody who met him. As an adult, he would explore the world with friends and family, traveling to places like Las Vegas, Jamaica, Green Bay, and of course, Chicago.
It was during his years in Dental School where he met and later married the love of his life, Nora Kashat. After they both completed Dental School, they married and soon after, purchased Caro Dental Practice. On August 21 of 2019, they then welcomed the greatest blessing of their life, their beloved son, Gerard. What he learned from his father and best friend, he easily transferred on to his own child. His families Sunday ritual of mass and breakfast at Johnny Cakes instilled a deep-rooted faith that would carry him throughout his life. Family was everything, and his own parents' legacy of love will live on through his son.
Marco was surrounded and loved by his family and friends even at the time of his passing. Marco was a true role model. His famous saying, "It's too easy", no longer applies, because the world is a little less bright and not as easy without him in it. Marco's big heart, contagious smile and love for others will be forever missed... Above all, his unshakable faith and love for God, were his true inspiration and the world will be less bright without him in it.
