Dear family and friends,
We regret to inform you of the sudden loss of Mark Plante.
Loving son of the late John and MaryLouise Plante.
Mark is survived by his siblings Art, Laura (Doyle),
MaryEllen, Michael and Michelle (Hoskins.)
Mark succumbed to his injuries from an auto accident on July 20.
Mark was born in Detroit and attended
St. Roberts in Redford and St. Bedes Elementary school in Southfield.
Mark attended Brother Rice High School for 2 years
then later graduated from Southfield-Lathrup High School in 1975.
Mark had a big heart for animals of all kinds.
In the last several years, Mark rescued and fostered many cats that were abandoned.
Mark worked for his dad then had his own painting business.
He was meticulous in his work and paid attention to every detail.
In his early years he loved to lift weights and could often be found
at the gym pumping iron!
His witty and dark humor always was sure to gain a smile.
Although he had a tough exterior he also had a heart of gold
and was generous with his time and talents with others.
Mark was a curious person and always strived to learn and improve every day.
Mark was a tinkerer and loved to take the things
apart, repair, clean and analyze them.
Mark had his ham radio operators license
and regularly spoke with other ham enthusiasts all over the country.
Mark will be greatly missed.
