Obituary

Dear family and friends,
We Regret the loss of Mary Dabish,

Mary Dabish was born in Iraq in 1926.  After immigrating to the United States, she and her husband, Salman (Pete) began their family. Robert, Paul, Mark, and Kenneth were the joy of her life. Along with being a mother, Mary was also an astute business woman. MRA Market became a fixture in Redford and the relationships built there remain to this day. In 1984, Mary welcomed Janet, Sandi, Tracey, Stephen into her family when Paul and Janet married. She was delighted in being a grandmother to the girls and later a great-grandmother to Duncan. Mary was a proud member of the Chaldean community and her work with the Chaldean Ladies of Charity was very important to her. In all facets, Mary lived life her own way.  Mary made her transition in the arms of the Blessed Mother on August 17, 2019 at the age of 93. She is survived by son Kenneth, daughter-in-law Janet, granddaughters Sandi and Tracey, great-grandson Duncan, sisters Ruth, Doris, and Joyce, nephews Sean, Craig, and Gary as well as a host of other relatives.

Thank You and May God Bless You

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
Thy Kingdom come;
Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil;
for thine is the Kingdom and the Power,
and the Glory, for Ever and Ever.
Amen
