the passing of our Beloved Mother,
Mary Thwany Putrus
Mary Putrus passed away peacefully on October 18, 2022
surrounded by her loving children and family.
She was born on July 1st, 1939 in Telkaif, Iraq.
Daughter of the late Awdish and Hannia (Shayota) Thwany.
She married Abdul Meseh Putrus on August 2, 1959.
They had 5 children together Manal, Mahir, Wisam, Amir and Salim.
We will remember her most from her endless stories, natural remedies,
and her love for Christ. Rest easy Yuma, kiss Baba from all of us.
Devoted wife of the late Abdul Meseh Putrus.
Loving mother of

Mahir (Monica) Putrus,
Wisam (Fatin) Putrus,
Amir (Laura) Putrus
and Salim (Eva) Putrus.
Cherished Grandmother of Sundra (Hadeer), Byren (Andrea), Heather (Bret),
Donovan (Brandi), Anthony, Amanda (Vinny), Dillion (Marina), Brooke, Lucas,
Skylar, Nicholas, Malania, Cassidy and Grayson.
Great Grandmother to Jayda, Faith, Maria, Cameron, Nicole, Izzac,
Giovanni, Alex, Logan, Tyler, Charolette, Blake, Roman and Aiden.
Beloved sister of the late Sabria (Aziz) Hamama,
Salema (Faraj) Sallan, the late Louis Thweny ,
the late Sabri (Naama) Thweny, Suham (Yousif) Asmar,
Johnny (Sana) Thweny, Samir (Methal) Thweny, Janan (Nadeem) Dalal,
Batool (Fred) Yono, Haithem (Zena) Thweny,
Thikra (Ehab) Rizk and Ashwaq (Basil) Cholagh.
Cherished aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday.

Mother of God Chaldean Catholic Church

A Committal Service will follow the Requiem Mass at
Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery

A Memorial Luncheon and Prayer Vigil
will take place following the
Committal Service at
Sahara Restaurant
2390 Metro Parkway
Sterling Heights MI 48310
Where the family will receive guest until 8:pm.
Flower arrangements can be sent to the church
or banquet hall the day of the funeral services.
