Naima Poota Bahoura

February 01, 1929 - October 02, 2015

Beloved wife of the late Jarjis Bahoura. Mother of the late Mikhail (Anwar), Amira Kassab (Basim), Almas Jaddou (Nazar), Eddie (Raieda), Iklas Bashi (Maher), Iman Secreto, and Barbara Matti (Joseph). She was adored, loved and inspired by her late mother, Wardani Kassab Poota, her 23 grandchildren, her 24 great grandchildren, her brothers and sisters, and her entire extended family. Naima was a humble servant of Christ and His Blessed Mother. She died peacefully and ever so gracefully on the Feast Day of the Guardian Angels, on the first Friday of the month devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus for which she had a 64-year devotion. Naima was truly dedicated to her strong faith, her family, all her relatives and friends. The Lord granted her great joy and peace as she carried out, for His sake, all the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy throughout her blessed life. Everywhere she walked, equipped with the Light of Christ radiating from her perpetual smile,  she authentically and deeply lived out The Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi.

It is the longing of Naima's children and family that anyone wishing to offer a donation in her honor would send checks made out to Adopt A Refugee and in the memo line, please make sure to write MERCI. (Medical and Emergency Relief for Christian Iraqis). Please contact Rafed Yaldo for details at (248)762-4210
