Dear family and friends, we regret to inform you of the passing of the beloved Dr. Nathima Habib Atchoo, MD.

Dr. Nathima Atchoo graduated from Fac Med U Baghdad Medical School in 1955. In 1960, she immigrated to the United States where she completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Gynecological Oncology in New York and New Jersey. That same year she married Dr. Peter Atchoo and in 1962, they welcomed the first of their 4 beautiful children. In 1973, they moved to Oakland County, MI where she became a renown specialist in her field.

She  was a devoted volunteer, generous donor and beloved pillar of her community. For decades, she selflessly served many organizations both in the United States and Iraq to help those in need. Her kindness, dedication and generous spirit have left an indelible mark and will impact others for generations to come.

She will be forever remembered and profoundly missed.

Cherished Wife of  the late Dr. Peter Atchoo.

Devoted Mother of  Dr. Faris (Shahnaz) Atchoo, Fanar Atchoo (Richard) Wright, Firas (Lakshmi) Atchoo and Fawaz (Cyndie) Atchoo.

Humble Grandmother of Jonah, Gabriel, Victoria and Nema Atchoo.

Adored Sister of the late Badie "Buddy"  Atchoo, the late Betty Dawisha, the late Najla Daoud and Suham Sheet.
