Robert "Bob" Walter Kinney , age 77, of Holly, Michigan, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1948, and lived a life marked by hard work, kindness, and deep devotion to his children and grandchildren.

Bob is survived by his children: Danielle (Matthew) Compton, Keith Kinney, Deanna Kinney, Christopher (Mindy) Kinney, and Matthew Kinney. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Asher (Meena), Avery, Victoria, Caden, Keegan, Lilly, Liam, Emersen, Jackson, Brooklyn and Tyler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pearl and Joseph Kinney. Bob also leaves behind many dear friends whose lives he touched.

Bob had a passion for cooking, and his family and friends were often blessed with his delicious creations—sometimes delivered as a surprise at their door. He was always ready to lend a hand, whether to his children, his neighbors, or anyone in need. His love for cars was unmatched; a true automotive encyclopedia, Bob was the first person many turned to with a question about their vehicle. His generosity, warmth, and willingness to help others defined the way he lived.
