IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Romeo Campo
Caldeo
January 13, 1934 – July 27, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Romeo Campo Caldeo . Romeo passed away from natural causes on July 27, 2025 in Southfield, Michigan at the age of 91. He was born in Roxas City in the Philippines and was the oldest of five children to Lorenzo and Esmeralda Caldeo. He worked at an electric company in the Philippines, and then for years as a machinist in Michigan until his retirement.
Romeo met his wife, Concesa, and they married and celebrated 53 years together. They raised one daughter together. Romeo was a caring husband, father, and grandfather, always placing his family first. He loved spending time in his garden, tending his plants and flowers and watching them grow every season. He enjoyed watching all sports but was especially devoted to Detroit and Michigan teams, cheering on the Tigers, Lions, Pistons, Spartans and Wolverines. He was a devout Catholic and was an usher at St. Scholastica Parish, and then at Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica. He believed in service to others and volunteered for years at Providence Hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Concesa, and his daughter, Roselyn (David) and his three grandchildren, Annalisa, Cecilia, and Daniel.
Romeo will be dearly missed by his family and friends and forever remembered.

Thank you and God bless you!
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For the Kingdom, the power, and the glory are Yours,
now and forever.
Amen
