Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Sabah "Sam" Seeman.

Sabah "Sam" Semaan was born in Baghdad, Iraq to the late Daizy Delly and Abid Semaan. He attended (high school) and was a Jesuit college graduate. After which, he worked as a banker until he emigrated to this great country from Baghdad in 1962. He began his career in automotive with Ford Motor Company until he founded SAS Imports and distributed non perishables to all the local liquor stores. Shortly after, he became an entrepreneur and started multiple successful businesses, Convenience & Liquor Stores. During this time he got married to his beautiful wife, Haifa Yono Seeman, after only 1 week of knowing her on her birthday, August 17, 1977. They had 2 daughters, Sabreen Semaan and Nadine Nasrallah. He generously supported Haifa to pursue higher education and her own career endeavors. In 2010, Sabah proudly served the US military as an interpreter in Iraq during Operation Iraqi freedom.  After serving his country, he spent the remainder of his years enjoying his retirement by spending time with his family, his grandchildren, gardening, playing musical instruments and catching up with his buddies. He is survived by his wife Haifa Seeman , his daughters Sabreen, Nadine (Fadi) his grand children Aliza and Joseph Nasrallah; And by his brothers, Ayad (Najwa) Semaan and Simon Semaan, and by his sister, Eman Semaan. All of whom will miss him dearly.

Sabah was an unparalled husband, father, and man. He was a faithful Christian who united his three years of suffering, multiple strokes and brain bleeds, to God. He passed surrounded by the strong embrace of those he loved most. May his soul rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to all.

Thank you and may God Bless You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom and the Power,
and the Glory, for Ever and Ever.

Amen
