It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we had to say goodbye to our
Beloved Salah Zoma.
Salah P. Zoma of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, was born in Baghdad, Iraq, on October 29, 1947. He entered eternal life on December 12, 2021, from natural causes.
Cherished husband of his beloved wife, Awham . Loving father of Fadi and Farah. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his siblings, Basima Zoma, Sabah Zoma, Suham Zoma Nisreen Dawood, Najah Zoma, Shereen Zoma, Yasmeen Alexander, Nabil Zoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paulis and Alice Zoma, and by his brother, Falah Zoma.
Salah immigrated to the United States in 1973, and he achieved high recognition in his Master's degree program at the University of Detroit. In 1977, Salah married his beautiful wife, Awham Jabero, and they were happily married for 45 wonderful years.
Salah was a dedicated electrical engineer in the nuclear, industrial, and renewable energy sectors. He was a dedicated entrepreneur who founded several companies in multiple areas of business, which encompassed the fields of consulting engineering, energy conservation, construction, and real estate. He was beloved and honored by all those who knew him and worked with him, many of whom he had significantly helped throughout his life.
Salah was known to have an impeccable moral character that was grounded in traditional moral values, and was a devout and practicing Catholic. Salah was a civic-minded model citizen who had the utmost respect for the laws of the land. He and his wife, Awham, were always dedicated to helping the Chaldean Community and our Church.
Salah's wonderful personality and unceasing authentic love for his devoted family, loving relatives, and dear friends and colleagues are monuments of the flourishing and meaningful life that he led.
Salah will be missed by all those who knew him. His love, laughter, extraordinary sense of humor, and ever-present smile will remain in our hearts now and forever. He will always be remembered for his great wisdom, unconditional love, and unwavering honesty. His memory will always be a fountain of blessings for all those who had the privilege and honor of knowing him and being with him.

A Requiem Mass will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021, at 10:00 am. at
St.Thomas Chaldean Catholic Church 6900 W. Maple Rd. West Bloomfield, MI 48322

The family invites you to a Memorial Luncheon following the Committal Service at Shenandoah Country Club 5600 Walnut Lake Rd West Bloomfield, MI 48323
Please Note the Following
The family thanks you for all the love and support they have received. However, due to the ongoing pandemic and safety for all, they have chosen not to accept visitors at their home following the Memorial Luncheon. The family will accept condolences through text messages and social media. The family also requests that all people who attend the mass and entombment service wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
