We regret to inform you of the loss of

Salwa Karjo Marougi Kattula.

Salwa was preceded in death by her father & siblings ,
Shaker Karjo,Souhaila Karjo Denha,& Ronnie Karjo,
and husband, Karim Marougi Kattula.

Salwa was a loving and devoted wife to the late Karim Marougi Kattula
and wonderful mother to 5 children, Sally (Louay) Kashat,
Julie( Miaad) Manna, Shirley ( Nimat) Babi,

Joseph ( Shelly) Marougi & Jonathan (Shanna) Marougi
and 13 beautiful grandchildren Matthew, Allison, Andrew, Caitlyn, Nickolas, Lucas, Maria, Mario, Maya, Noah, Jonathan, Scarlett, and Sadie.

Salwa had 5 brothers and 3 sisters.

Louis ( Sahira) Karjo, Faiez(Amera) Karjo,
Saher(Mayada) Karjo, Mike(Ban) Karjo, the late Ronnie (Ban) Karjo,
Wadia(Jamil) Denha, Amera ( the late Sabah) Kashat,
& the late Souhalia ( late Sabah) Denha.

In 1971, Salwa and Karim immigrated to America to begin their lives.
She loved to be surrounded by family, friends, food , and laughter.
Her pride and joy were her children, grandchildren,
siblings, nieces, nephews and amazing friends.

Salwa's strength and belief in Jesus never wavered

throughout her fight with cancer.
In Phillipans 4:6 it says,

don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything.
Tell God what you need and thank Him for all he's done.
For every moment she thanked Jesus not only
for all the good in her life but also for all her suffering.

Salwa will be deeply missed by all who knew her

or were touched by her,
and her lasting impact will remain with us all,
forever reminding us to always trust in God's Will, maintain our faith,
and remain joyful regardless of our circumstances.

Church Prayer Services will take place at
Mother of God Chaldean Church in Southfield.
Friday May 15, 2020. at 12:00 Noon
Due to CDC Regulations only 8 family members
will be allowed inside the Church
all others must remain in their cars.

Cemetery services will follow Church services at
Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery
25800 W. 10 Mile Road
Southfield, MI 48033
Due to the CDC regulations.
8 family members can go to the graveside
all other family is required to stay in their cars
until the interment has been completed.
at which time family may visit the graveside.
