July 1, 1939 – June 29, 2020
Shamimta Haio Shango peacefully went home
to be with Jesus on June 29, 2020.
She was the beloved wife of Zaia Shango for 65 years,
beautiful mother of Ghassan (Samira) Shango,
Nadia (Akram) Kassab, Adnan (Ghaida) Shango,
Kahtan (Maysoon) Shango, Rakan Shango, Steve (Gaynor) Shango,
and Ron (Joanne) Shango. She was the loving grandmother
of 26 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was Yuma to us all and was happiest celebrating with her family.
Her light will shine on through all her children.
Church Services:
Instate church visitation
Services will take place at
Mother of God Chaldean Church on
Wednesday, July 01, 2020 at 12:15 pm. to 1:00 Pm
A requiem mass will take place take place at 1:00 pm.

Committal Service:
The interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
following Church Services.
The family will have a memorial luncheon
and Prayer vigil to follow
Cemetery services at
Shenandoah Country Club
The family will accept guests until 7:00 pm.
Please any flower arrangements are to be sent to
Shenandoah Country Club at the families request.
Due to CDC Regulations 50 % capacity of people
will be allowed inside the church. Please wear a mask.
all others must remain in their cars.
The committal service taking place at
Holy Sepulchre Cemetery following church services have specific rules.
Due to the CDC regulations for non covid burials.
100 family members and friends will be allowed at graveside.
All in attendance must remain 25 feet away from the gravesite
