Obituary

Dear family and friends, we regret to inform you of the passing of the beloved Sharon Ann Lossia.

Loving daughter of the late Hyman Green and the late Beatrice Nesgor Green.

Beloved wife of James Gilbert Lossia.

Devoted mother of James A Lossia, Evelyn Lossia (Courtland Anderson), Karen (David) Bolton, Debbie (Edward) Venezia, Melanie Kaplan, and Tiffany (Larry) Cicci.

Gracious grandmother of Dylan, Dean, Jake, Mia, Hunter, Rylee, Giovanni, Antonio, and Jordyn.

Sister of the late Alana MacDonald.

Sharon Green Lossia was born in Toronto, Ontario, the daughter of Hyman and Beatrice Green. She met her husband, James G. Lossia, when they were young teenagers. They built a life together filled with many challenges, but through it all, even in the worst of times, she still enjoyed every minute with her children, grandchildren, and her husband, who cared for her so deeply, so carefully, and so endlessly.

Her 6 children were her pride and joy, and as her children became mothers themselves, she cared for her grandchildren, her greatest prides and joy-with her husband at her side and with more love than anyone could ever imagine. Each of her grandchildren lit up her life and made every moment worth living.  We will never forget her sense of humor that made every holiday so memorable. We could always count on our Nana to say something to make everyone laugh. Everyone who met her adored her.

Sharon was the kindest, sweetest soul; she had so much love for her family. In the end, she had her husband, her children and her grandchildren by her side, and that is exactly what she would have wanted.

We will miss her forever, we know there will be many people she loved welcoming her to the gates of heaven, and we will carry her memories with us throughout the rest of our lives.

Thank you and God Bless You!

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.
