Thomas Dellario passed away, January 24, 2015, in Bangkok, Thailand from complications of emphysema. After a cremation ceremony in Bangkok his ashes were brought back to Michigan. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 16, 2015, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm. at the Southfield Funeral Home 18338 West 12 Mile Road, Southfield, Mi.

Tom was born in New York, raised in Lincoln Park, MI, and graduated from WMU where he received a Doctorate of Education. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Tom taught in Kalamazoo schools for almost 30 years.
For the last 17 years Tom has been living overseas and working as an International Schools Administrator. He was headmaster/superintendent of schools in Thailand, Egypt, Malmar(Burma), Vietnam, and Brazil. He became internationally well known and sought after for his expertise in setting up and attaining certification for new international schools.
He was well liked by all and loved by his many relatives and friends in the U.S. and around the world. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Pat and Peggy, and sister Patti. Tom is survived by his son Brandon(Phoenix, AZ), son Jared and his fiancé Jenelle(St. Clair Shores, MI), sister Joan Johnston and her husband Ron(Pawley Island, S.C.), brother Joe Dellario and his wife Jeannie(Myrtle Beach, S.C.), former wife Cheryl(MI and AZ), and many nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
