IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tony Kamal
Antoon
August 15, 1938 – October 24, 2022
We regret to inform you of the loss of the beloved Tony Kamal Antoon.
Born in Baghdad, Iraq on August 15, 1938 to Naomi and Mary KasHanna Antoon, Kamal "Tony"
Antoon was the 4th of 7 children.
He grew up in Habbaniya, Iraq, where he lived until the age of 25 yrs old.
In 1963, "Tony" immigrated to the United States of America to work and attend college. In 1968, he met
his beautiful wife, Rabiha Saiyad Antoon, with whom he shared 53 blessed years and had 3 beautiful
children. A graduate of the Lewis College of Business, he went on to work for Detroit Public Schools,
as a Community Liaison.
One of his biggest accomplishments was being a grandfather.
He considered himself lucky to
have six grandchildren: Kaylee, Kyle,
Raya, Reese, Ryder and Rocco whom he dearly cherished.
Nothing made him happier than
spoiling them with "Jidoo snacks."
He was always there for them through their ups and downs, and
taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer.
On his final days, he was surrounded by his beloved wife Rahiba and their 3 children,
whom he adored more than anything else in the world.
He will be remembered as a hard working, gentle, and generous man but more importantly,
the ultimate peacemaker.
He will be welcomed with open arms by his maker.
Loving Son of the late Naomi and the late Mary Antoon.
Cherished Husband of Rahiba Saiyad Antoon.
Adoring Father of Ronnie Antoon, Raymond (Revon) Antoon, and Renee (Scott) Yaldo.
Doting Grandfather of Kaylee, Kyle, Raya,
Reese, Ryder and Rocco.
Devoted Brother of the late George, the late Hikmat,
Sabah, Amir, Najat and the late Basil.

Tony was dedicated to helping wherever he could,
but children held a special place in his heart.
Each year he would purchase bikes and pajamas for children, as well as other needed items.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in his honor
be made to The Chaldean Ladies of Charity,
so Tonys yearly tradition will continue to live on.
* Please include "Tony Antoon" when making a donation."
Thank You and May God Bless You
Hail, holy Queen, mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness,
and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.
To thee do we send up our sighs mourning and weeping
in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate,
thine eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile
how us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.
Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God.
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Amen
