With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our Beloved Father Wadie Hermiz Barash.
Wadie Hermiz Barash passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2021 surrounded by his loving children. He was born on December 1st, 1942 in Baghdad, Iraq, son of the late Hermiz and Therese Barash.
He married the love of his life Nazhat (Matty) in November of 1965. They had 4 children together Layth, Nagham, Hiytham (Harry), and Laura.
Wadie was a well known barber, servicing our community for over 60 years. He loved all his clients as if they were family.
We will remember him most from his endless stories and constant humor. Rest easy Boba, kiss mom for us all.
Devoted Husband of the late Nazhat (Matty) Barash.
Loving Father of Layth (Noreen), Nagham (Ala), Hiytham (Cyndi) and Laura (Amir).
Cherished Grandfather of Dalina (Justin), Dillion, Danah, Gabriella (Aoos), Alannah (Mazen), Lia, Alexa, Lucas, Skylar, Nicholas, Anthony, Stella and Great Grandfather to Nevaeh, Jonah and Noah.
Beloved brother of Souad (Jamil) Mansour, the late Oraha (Gurgia) Barash, the late Sabriya (Aziz) Al-Sayad, the late Yelda (Samira) Barash and the late Shamama (Abid) Kiti.
Cherished uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still Loved, Still Missed and forever Dear.

Committal Service at
Sahara Restaurant and Banquet Center

where the family will receive guest until 7:00 pm.

Flower arrangements can be sent to the church or banquet hall the day of the funeral services.
