IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Yako (Jacob)
Toma Mikhou
December 11, 1961 – February 22, 2025
It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Yako Toma Mikhou .
B eloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, who left us on February 22, 2025.
Yako was a kind, loyal, honest and generous man. He devoted his life to his work, family and God. His kindness was noticed by everyone. He would always go above and beyond to help others and sometimes at the expense of his own rest.
Yako leaves behind his loving wife, Bushra, son, Manuel, daughter Maryteres, brother, Dankha, sisters; Warina, Mariam and Amel, nephews and nieces. Not to forget countless other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.
He found great joy in spending quality time with his family, going to the weekly mass with them, traveling to see other families, and taking care of his garden.
His legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
We will forever hold Yako in our hearts and remember the beautiful person and soul he was.
May he rest in eternal peace.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,
on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the Kingdom and the Power,
and the Glory, for Ever and Ever.
