Birthdate: November, 14, 1937 in Baghdad, Iraq.
For those who knew our father, they knew him to be a proud, honest and loving man. He was not only kind-hearted but he always was there for anyone who needed help and never asked for anything in return. Zaki was a family man. He sacrificed everything for his wife, children and grandchildren not only because he loved them but he always wanted them to have the best life.
Zaki was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq on November 14, 1937. Zaki graduated from the University of Baghdad with a degree in Chemical Pharmacy. He opened up Zaki Pharmacy in Baghdad in 1972.  He opened his second pharmacy in 1976 and became a successful medical supply manager for all of Iraq. He decided to leave everything behind for a better life for his wife and children and immigrated to America in 1990. After arriving in America, he attempted to work as a pharmacist but was unable to pass the exams here in America after taking the exam three times. He then decided to work and support his family as a pharmacy technician. After working very hard to support his family, he was forced to retire early due to health conditions in 2000.
He was the son of the late Yaqob and Mary Zara. He was the oldest of four children-Salah Zara, Baha Zara, and Sousan Sadek. He married the love of his life, Nesreen Sadek, on June 30, 1968. Zaki was the father to four beautiful children-Aysar Dadisho, Aymen Yaqob, Fadi Zara and Alaa Zara. He was the grandfather to eight grandchildren to which he loved more than life-Sandra, Mariam, Caram, Christopher, Mary, Faisal, Selma and Zachary.
